Social Care Needs Assessor

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Worker to join our team as a Social Care Needs Assessor in Hampshire County Council. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and reviewing the social care needs of individuals, relatives, and carers within a specific care group.
Your duties will include supporting UASC and refugee young people and children, including placements, age/trafficking assessments, and CIC procedures. You will also need to decide on the most appropriate level and type of service provision to meet identified needs/risks and ensure that care plans are within statutory and legal frameworks.
To succeed in this role, you must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to build effective relationships with children and families. Regular travel within Hampshire and the Isle of Wight is required, and a current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are essential.
This position requires a qualified and registered Social Worker who can provide high-quality services to vulnerable populations. The estimated salary for this role is £40,445 per annum, plus a market supplement up to £3,800 per annum.
