About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Mental Health Transport Assistant at Secure Care UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing safe and respectful transportation services to vulnerable service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Services: Provide safe and respectful transportation services to service users, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Support and Care: Offer emotional support and care to service users during transportation, adhering to our organization's values and policies.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Maintain effective communication with colleagues and stakeholders, working collaboratively to ensure seamless transportation services.
  • Vehicle Maintenance and Safety: Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of company vehicles, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
  • Incident Response: Respond promptly and professionally to incidents or emergencies during transportation, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Continuous Learning and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
Requirements
  • Valid Full UK Manual Driving License: Possess a valid full UK manual driving license, with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate: Hold an Enhanced Adult and Child DBS Certificate, dated within the last 3 years.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Show a willingness to work as part of a team, adapting to changing situations and priorities.
  • Attention to Detail: Possess excellent attention to detail, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks and responsibilities.
