We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary Mental Health Worker to join our team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Early Help Team, you will play a vital role in providing a community-based primary mental health service for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities- Work with colleagues to offer consultation and advice to primary care workers on all aspects of mental health and wellbeing of children and their families.
- Direct children and their families to the most appropriate service in order to meet their emotional needs.
- Offer assessments individually and jointly with primary care colleagues.
- Offer a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions at tier 1 and 2 to children, young people, and their families, and hold a small caseload.
- Work with your PMHW colleagues to deliver formal and informal training and education to all agencies involved with the emotional care of children and young people.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a candidate with a professional qualification, with evidence of continuing professional development, in Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, with current Registration with the NMC, SWE, or HCPC.
