Key duties will include:

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to legal professionals, including managing correspondence and documentation.
  • Preparing legal documents, reports, and presentations with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Conducting audio typing and transcribing legal documents as required.
  • Maintaining and organised filing systems for both electronic and paper records.
  • Scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings using Outlook.
  • Assisting with the preparation of case files and ensuring all relevant information is readily accessible.
  • Utilising Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, to create and manage documents and spreadsheets.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties to facilitate smooth operations.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role within a professional environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in audio typing and familiarity with various IT systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
