**Role Overview**

Creative Support Ltd is seeking a dedicated Weekend Support Worker to join our team in Keighley, Bradford. As a key member of our staff, you will provide quality support and care to residents living in self-contained flats with mental health support needs.

**About the Role**

This part-time weekend role involves supporting residents with daily tasks, encouraging engagement in social activities, and promoting independence while providing emotional support for mental health.

No personal care or moving and handling is involved in this position.

The service is located on the outskirts of Keighley, with great public transport links and a bus stop nearby. The town centre is just 5 minutes away.

**Job Responsibilities**

  • Provide support with medication and domestic tasks like cooking and cleaning
  • Encourage residents to engage in various social activities within and outside their homes
  • Help residents follow their support plans and gain independence while providing emotional support for mental health

**Requirements**

We prefer candidates with previous care experience, but full training is provided by our Creative Support Training Academy. Opportunities to work towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care are also available.
