About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health Promotion Specialist to join our team at Bupa Clinics. As a Health Promotion Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our customers by providing education on how to live longer, healthier, happier lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of Health Assessments to customers, ensuring accurate and timely completion of assessments.
  • Maintain accurate client records and participate in the end-to-end process, from initial consultation to post-assessment follow-up.
  • Promote and encourage a healthier lifestyle in accordance with Bupa's current clinical policies, using motivational interviewing techniques to promote behaviour change.
  • Conduct clinical testing, including body composition analysis, spirometry, heart rate monitoring, and other relevant assessments.
  • Create individual lifestyle action plans, using motivational interviewing techniques to promote behaviour change and support positive change.
  • Conduct post-assessment calls to support customers in achieving their health goals.
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in exercise physiology, sports science, or nutrition.
  • Customer-facing experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Experience of performing measurement or assessment in a health and fitness or medical environment, with a strong understanding of clinical guidelines.
  • Accuracy in information recording and working within clinical guidelines.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers, tailoring your approach to individual needs.
  • Empathy and ability to motivate customers to make positive health changes.
