Job Title: Veterinary Health Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Health Specialist to join our team at MSD Animal Health UK Ltd. As a key member of our Ruminant Veterinary Advisors team, you will play a crucial role in promoting best practice use of our health care solutions, including our extensive portfolio of ruminant biopharma and monitoring products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist veterinary expertise to develop, promote, and implement preventative healthcare programmes and solutions, leveraging our ruminant product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis) for our products.
  • Develop networks of benefit to our Animal Health business, including working relationships with national stakeholders, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and academic institutions.
  • Ensure compliance with the NOAH Code of Practice and the Veterinary Medicines Regulations.
  • Work with internal national account and market access teams to roll-out prevention solutions within corporate and buying group customers, and food supply chain partners.
  • Provide comprehensive in-house technical training to ensure all staff are trained to their necessary level to promote prevention solutions and products effectively.

Requirements:

  • UK recognised Veterinary Medicine degree essential.
  • Membership of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
  • Significant experience with ruminants in a UK veterinary practice environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with a customer-centric approach.
