We are seeking a highly skilled Flood Modelling Expert to join our team at Aldwych Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our consulting team, you will have the opportunity to develop your career in the water/environment sector and work on a diverse range of projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement flood modelling techniques using industry-standard software such as Flood Modeller, ESTRY, and TUFLOW.
- Conduct hydrological analysis and develop hydrological assessments using WINFAP, ReFH2, and FEH statistical methods.
- Communicate complex modelling outputs to stakeholders and present technically sound information to support client objectives.
- Work independently and as part of a distributed team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
- Minimum degree(s) in Geography, Environmental Management, or Engineering.
- 4+ years of UK-based industry experience in flood modelling and hydrology.
- Significant experience in 1D and 2D modelling methods and their application to various studies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competitive salary range of £36,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
