We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Court Usher to join our team at Leeds Magistrates Court. As a Court Usher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the court, providing exceptional customer service to all court users, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Clerking the Courts: You will be responsible for clerking the courts, acting as the first point of contact for all court users involved in hearings.
  2. Calling Members of the Public into Court: You will be required to call members of the public into court in a professional and courteous manner.
  3. Maintaining Supplies: You will be responsible for maintaining supplies for court users and completing court recording sheets.
  4. General Clerical Work: You will be required to carry out general clerical work as needed to support the work of HMCTS.
Requirements:
  1. Basic IT Skills: You will need to have basic IT skills in Microsoft Packages, although training will be provided.
  2. Communication Skills: You will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with court users and other stakeholders.
