About the Role

This senior-level position will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial support to the Endowment business unit, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and planning. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with experience in managing large budgets and leading cross-functional teams.

As a key member of the Finance team, you will work closely with the Endowment leadership to develop and implement strategic plans, provide financial insights and analysis, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Your expertise in financial modeling, analytics, and data insight will enable you to drive informed decision-making and optimize financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with members of the Endowment team, providing proactive support and guidance on financial matters.
  • Lead the accounting process for the property and financial investing activities of the Endowment, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Prepare regular financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, tailored to meet the needs of both the Endowment and the wider organization.
  • Support the development of key performance indicators and lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for the Endowment.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure end-to-end financial integrity and support the integration of financial processes across the organization.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong educational background in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a similar role within a healthcare or charitable organization.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis.
  • Experience working with Access Financials, Access Analytics, and Access Office Integration is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
