At ION Group, we are seeking a Quality Engineering Leader to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for shifting the traditional testing paradigm towards embedding quality engineering.

The successful candidate will have a potent combination of experience in successfully introducing and delivering quality engineering, Capital Markets / Crypto domain expertise, and stakeholder management skills to manage engagements that create substantial value for our clients while also being commercially successful.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with clients to discover and lead opportunities to introduce quality engineering practices.
  • Collaborate closely with clients and other ION Group functions to deliver high-quality testing capabilities.
  • Design and build advanced testing capabilities for applications across platforms while understanding the products from both a technical and business perspective.
  • Communicate with leadership, product owners, and users to create working testing software based on an understanding of business and technical priorities.

Requirements:

  • Over 10 years of progressive experience in Quality Engineering / Assurance with at least 4+ years of experience in Test Automation, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Experience from the QE perspective in transforming legacy enterprise delivery processes to Agile delivery at scale.
  • Practical knowledge of building test data management platforms for complex input/reference-data-heavy enterprise platforms.
  • Fluency in qualitative, quantitative, and financial quality metrics.
