Care Worker for Adolescent Support

Supply Staff Limited is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support to young people in their own homes, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. This is a rewarding and challenging role that requires dedication, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
Key Tasks:
* Provide emotional support and guidance to young people, helping them to build confidence and self-esteem
* Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with our team to ensure effective delivery
* Establish and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals involved in their care
* Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge
Person Specification:
* A minimum of 1 year's experience working with Looked After Children of secondary school age
* An NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility and willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
