As a Senior Family Health Practitioner, you will be responsible for undertaking a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely manner.

You will make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, assessing the health needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems, screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.

You will contribute to QOF requirements and produce plans and follow protocols as required, make referrals and admissions, deal with patient clinical correspondence and lab reports, prescribe in accordance with accepted formulary, record clear and contemporaneous consultation notes.

You will be required to undertake all duties and responsibilities associated with working in a GP practice.
