Job Overview:

CV-Library is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Health Care Assistant to join our team in Watford, Hertfordshire. As a leader in the field, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. You will be responsible for assisting patients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting.
  2. You will support patients with mobility, transfers, and physical exercises under the guidance of senior clinical staff.
  3. You will administer medication as per care plans and under supervision of senior clinical staff.
  4. You will monitor and record patients' vital signs, symptoms, and behavior.
  5. You will mentor and supervise junior HCAs, providing guidance and support as needed.
  6. You will participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvements in patient care.

Requirements:

  • Health and Social Care NVQ Level 2-Level 5
  • Administration of Medication Practical Training Certificate
  • Previous experience in a senior healthcare role, with leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.
