Hays Business Support is partnering with a rapidly expanding business in Norwich to recruit two new members for their Customer Service team.

This company has experienced significant growth in the UK and overseas, with their Customer Service team playing a crucial role in their success.

The organisation prioritises delivering exceptional customer experiences while fostering a positive work environment.

They operate in a fast-paced sector, providing a range of services to the logistics industry, leveraging technology and innovative approaches to deliver tailored solutions.

Your Role

As the first point of contact for customer inquiries, you will ensure a seamless experience for all customers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing strong relationships with existing customers by supporting their needs and upselling relevant services.
  2. Handling customer queries in a timely and friendly manner.
  3. Conducting regular customer account reviews to ensure packages meet their requirements.
  4. Providing customers with updates on products and services.
  5. Resolving customer invoice queries.
  6. Supporting the delivery of business financial targets.
  7. Building effective relationships with internal stakeholders.
  8. Contributing to initiatives to grow the customer base through occasional outbound calling.

This is a full-time role, working 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

After a minimum of 6 months, there is flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days a week, following successful completion of probation.

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  1. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  2. A 'can-do' attitude and a positive approach to resolving customer queries.
  3. The ability to operate effectively within a close-knit team and be flexible in your approach.
  4. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the logistics industry.
  5. Strong multitasking, organisational, and time management skills.
  6. Access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license.
