**Job Description:** SEN Teaching Assistant - Leamington Spa
Job Type: Full-time, Long-term to Permanent

Long Term Futures Ltd is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Leamington Spa. The successful candidate will work one-to-one with a Year 4 child who requires additional support due to ASD.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the class teacher to develop strategies for supporting the child's learning needs
  • Implementing Team Teach techniques to manage behavior and promote social interaction

We are looking for an individual who possesses:

  • A Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching & Learning qualification or equivalent
  • Proven experience in supporting children with ASD and communication needs
  • Familiarity with PECS and Makaton
  • Strong behavior management skills, including Team Teach
  • Knowledge of EHCPs and the UK Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
