Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Change Coach. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers in achieving their employment goals.

About the Role

The Assistant Change Coach will work closely with our Change Coaches to deliver high-quality support services to our customers. This will involve conducting programme induction sessions, running Job Clubs, and undertaking troubleshooting activities to ensure individuals sustain employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers through outbound calls to encourage participation in our programmes.
  • Conduct welcome and introduction meetings for small groups or individuals, gathering necessary information and completing start-up administration requirements.
  • Undertake initial assessments with customers, update records, and book follow-up meetings with designated Change Coaches.
  • Handle customer concerns sensitively and provide guidance on joining employment programmes or returning to work.
  • Organise and lead Job Club activities, including job search, CV preparation, and talks from employers.
  • Support bulk recruitment campaigns for specific employers and provide information, advice, and guidance to customers and employers.
  • Visit employers to resolve 'settling-in' issues when customers start work and provide support with employment training needs.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and support Change Coaches in re-engaging with disengaged customers.
  • Work flexibly to support team activities and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to ensure excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths at grade 'C' or above or equivalent qualification or experience.
  • Experience of working in an outcome-driven environment and using ICT systems.
  • Understanding of how to affect positive behaviour change and knowledge of the barriers to employment and the welfare to work agenda.
