We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to support the educational and vocational development of students with SEMH and associated needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one coaching and support to students, helping them to identify their strengths, interests, and career aspirations.
  • Develop and implement bespoke work experience and employability programs tailored to individual student needs.
  • Liaise with local providers to deliver a new vocational program that acts as a bridge into work for students.
  • Coordinate and monitor a range of realistic accreditation and training opportunities for students.
  • Support students in achieving a range of qualifications in core subjects and vocational areas.
  • Facilitate a smooth transition for students from secondary education into further education, training, or employment.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, external agencies, and the local community to enhance the vocational and employability prospects of students.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Work Coach or similar role, preferably within an SEN setting.
  • Strong understanding of the vocational and employability needs of young people with SEMH and associated needs.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with local employers, training providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Commitment to the ethos of Love, Flourishing, Community, and Social Justice.
  • Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
  • Right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
