About the Role

We are seeking an experienced iOS Lead Developer to join our team at AJ Bell, a leading investment platform business in the UK. As an iOS Lead Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our mobile platform and delivering high-quality, award-winning apps to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and engage a strong iOS development team to drive innovation and excellence in our mobile platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-performance iOS applications using SwiftUI, Swift, and Objective-C.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of iOS SDK, design patterns, and SOLID principles to ensure our apps meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Work closely with our Android development team to ensure seamless integration and collaboration between our iOS and Android platforms.
  • Identify and prioritize technical requirements, ensuring that our apps meet business needs and customer expectations.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of continuous learning and improvement, staying up-to-date with the latest iOS technologies and trends.
Requirements
  • Strong commercial experience in native mobile development, with a focus on iOS.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality, high-performance iOS applications using SwiftUI, Swift, and Objective-C.
  • Deep understanding of iOS SDK, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including design, product, and engineering.
