About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager to join our team at SSE PLC. As a key member of our Group Risk & Audit team, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's objectives and ensuring the effective management of risk.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Engaging with stakeholders to understand their risks and priorities, and collaborating with leadership to deliver effective education and training.
  2. Driving the implementation and improvement of our enterprise risk management framework, providing innovative support and conducting risk workshops.
  3. Supporting operation risk management reporting and monitoring, identifying common risks and potential material impacts.

Requirements for the role include:

  1. Sufficient experience in a risk management role, including experience of implementing and embedding enterprise risk management frameworks.
  2. A relevant qualification in risk management, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  3. Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead risk workshops and present to senior stakeholders.
