About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Operations Assistant to join our Operations Team at Kensington Mortgage Company. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our mortgage administration processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to our Lending Operations Team, ensuring that all mortgage applications are managed efficiently and professionally.
  • Support the Underwriters with administrative requests, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  • Manage inbound call volumes from intermediaries, solicitors, and applicants, providing a seamless quality service to all parties.
  • Adhere to our service standards as set out in the Policy & Procedures Manual, ensuring that all communication with stakeholders is handled in accordance with our procedures.
  • Develop new and enhance existing relationships with Mortgage Intermediaries, looking for new business opportunities where appropriate.
  • Build a close working relationship with the Sales team and Underwriters to enhance the process from both a service and quality perspective.
  • Manage the receipt of mortgage application and administration fees, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  • Be accountable for the quality of intermediary updates, ensuring that they are completed in line with agreed service levels and provide clear and accurate information at all times.
Requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience of handling incoming calls in an operational capacity, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Experience in a processing of administration environment, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Services experience, with a focus on mortgage administration and compliance.
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
