Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Service Delivery management team to develop and implement IT service standards and procedures.
- Ensure the timely and effective resolution of IT incidents and requests, adhering to agreed procedures and documentation standards.
- Provide expert technical guidance and support to users, including training and documentation on IT systems and products.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance IT service delivery and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other resolver teams and 3rd parties to propose and implement solutions to complex technical issues.
- Perform on-site hardware and software fixes, as well as workarounds, across multiple sites.
- Assist with other projects and activities within the Division as required.
- Maintain the IT knowledgebase, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation of systems and related business procedures.
- ITIL Foundation certificate
- English Language and Mathematics at GCSE (new grades) or GCSE A*-C; O level A-C or CSE 1)
- Any IT-related qualifications
- Ability to handle difficult and demanding customer environments and pressurized workload
- Ability to mentor and train junior members of the team
- Excellent numeracy skills and experience of using spreadsheets, with a good understanding of Office 365 and Exchange online
- Understanding of VM ware, WAN and LAN environments, MPLS and VPN fundamentals, and Microsoft Active Directory
- Detailed understanding of client hardware and operating system to effectively troubleshoot problems
- Mobile technologies
- Unified communications
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills, with the ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve results
