We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Care Home Manager position at our beautiful care home in Eye.

Salary and Benefits

Job Description

As the Deputy Care Home Manager, you will assist in managing operations within the home to reach or exceed goals while ensuring the provision of high-quality care. You will oversee the care staff, assume full management in the event of the Home Manager's absence, and train and supervise care staff in all facets of their work.

You will also help the Home Manager with pre-admission assessments of residents, ensure that each resident's care plan and daily records are kept up to date, and foster effective communication with the residents' families and other organisations.

Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Deputy Home Manager is essential.
  • You should have the ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent services of care.
  • A good working knowledge of CQC standards is required.
  • You must be able to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing teams.
  • You should be able to promote ownership of care programs by involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care programs.
