About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Care Home Manager to join our team in Eye. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and dedicated individual to take on a key leadership role within our care home.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the management of operations within the home, ensuring that we deliver high-quality care to our residents. As a Deputy Manager, you will oversee the care staff, assume full management responsibilities when needed, and provide training and supervision to ensure excellent care standards.

You will work closely with the Home Manager to conduct pre-admission assessments, maintain accurate resident records, and foster strong relationships with families and external organizations.

Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager
  • Ability to engage with service users to understand their needs
  • Working knowledge of CQC standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to promote ownership of care programs among service users and their families
