Child Psychology Support Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working directly with children, understanding their unique needs, and helping them achieve their full potential.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with children who require additional assistance, providing personalized learning support to help them engage and progress in their studies. You will collaborate with teachers to maintain a positive and focused learning environment, ensuring all students have the support they need to succeed academically and socially.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing 1:1 and group support to children who require additional assistance
- Collaborating with teachers to maintain a positive and focused learning environment
- Tracking students' development by recording observations, behaviours, and academic progress
- Offering emotional and social support to help students build confidence, self-esteem, and interpersonal skills
We offer a wide range of training and courses to help your continuous development, including access to over 2500 FREE certified CPD courses via the National College. You will also have access to our user-friendly online portal to manage your timesheets and availability.
