About the Role

Huboo, a technology-led ecommerce fulfilment company, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security and risk management team, you will play a crucial role in protecting our clients' inventory and ensuring the integrity of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Emergency Crisis Planning: Support the development of emergency crisis plans for our sites, ensuring that we are prepared to respond to any potential security threats.
  • Risk Assessments: Conduct thorough risk assessments on clients' stock to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement proactive measures to minimize the risk of loss.
  • Collaboration with Operations: Work closely with our operations team to establish effective measures to prevent damage to clients' stock and minimize losses.
  • Investigations and Audits: Conduct thorough investigations into lost stock and undertake regular audits to ensure compliance with security and loss prevention protocols.
  • Reporting and Recommendations: Generate detailed reports and provide recommendations for risk mitigation to senior management.
Requirements
  • Experience in Security and Loss Prevention: A minimum of [X] years of experience in security and loss prevention, preferably in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Security Systems: A solid understanding of fire, intruder, access control, and CCTV systems, including design standards and usage.
  • Employment Law and Regulations: Familiarity with employment law, PACE, and GDPR regulations.
  • Investigation and Interviewing Skills: Experience in conducting detailed investigations and interviewing colleagues and third parties to establish the facts of loss.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
