Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our team at Hospitality People Ltd T/a Hashtag Chefs. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading a team of chefs to deliver exceptional culinary experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of chefs: Develop and implement strategies to motivate and inspire your team to achieve exceptional results.
  • Culinary innovation: Collaborate with the head chef to develop and implement menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and sustainable practices.
  • Quality control: Work closely with the head chef to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen operations: Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering, and staff scheduling.
  • Health and safety: Ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all staff.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant.
  • Sustainable practices: Strong knowledge of sustainable food practices and seasonal ingredients.
  • Leadership skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Pressure management: Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Customer service: Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
