Job Title: Advanced Stoma Care Practitioner

The Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to join their Stoma specialist nursing team. As an Advanced Stoma Care Practitioner, you will work closely with the MDT to provide comprehensive therapy services and support patients before and after stoma surgery.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage a clinical caseload with autonomy, working without direct supervision
  • Undertake comprehensive AHP assessment, provide a therapeutic diagnosis, and implement agreed treatment plans if appropriate
  • Provide individual or group therapy as necessary, respecting patients' privacy, dignity, and individuality

The ideal candidate will have two years of experience as a qualified OT/Physiotherapist, proven experience of working within an MDT, and a keen desire to progress in personal development. In return, the Trust offers a competitive salary of £34,000 - £40,500 per annum, depending on experience.

This role is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, and a Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required.
