Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Workforce Business Development Partner. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our organization and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Participate in a full shift 24/7 rota of more experienced doctors who provide support to the junior grade at Morriston ED.
  • Provide initial treatment and assessment of adult and pediatric patients presenting with illness or injury and where necessary arranging for patients to be reviewed or admitted by medical staff from other specialties.
  • Be clinically responsible for the diagnosis, supervision, and management of patients attending the ED.

Person Specification
  • Full GMC Registration with license to practice.
  • MB BS or recognized equivalent.
  • 48 months postgraduate experience which includes 12 months emergency medicine equivalent to UK practice OR evidence of ST3 EM Competencies.
  • Provider status in ALS/ATLS/EPLS.
Desirable Criteria
  • MRCEM.
Experience
  • Evidence of working effectively as a part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to team approach and multi-disciplinary working.
  • Up to date with current practices in Emergency Medicine.
  • Evidence of participation in, progressing, and completing audit.
Skills
  • Understanding of clinical risk management and clinical governance.
  • Basic understanding of research methodology and demonstrates evidence of ability to learn.
  • Ability to take independent clinical decisions when necessary and to seek advice from senior doctors as appropriate.
