Job Title: Senior National Account Manager

MacGregor Black is seeking a highly skilled Senior National Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with key national accounts in the grocery retail sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to grocers and key retailers to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  2. Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth within the grocery and retail sectors.
  3. Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and promotions with major retail and grocery partners.
  4. Work closely with the marketing, product development, and logistics teams to ensure alignment on account strategies and execution.
  5. Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management.
  6. Develop and manage account budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  7. Plan and execute promotional activities and campaigns in collaboration with marketing teams to drive product visibility and sales.

Requirements:

  1. Strong account management experience.
  2. Experience of developing accounts and winning new business.
  3. Ability to manage a multitude of different priorities (internal & external) and work to timescales, manage projects, and lead people.
