Quantity Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing our construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Involvement: Manage Fit-Out projects initially valued at £500K, with the opportunity to progress to larger New Build projects as the role develops.
  • Estimating Duties: Support with estimating as needed, working closely with the team to provide accurate cost projections.
  • Client Management: Liaise with both internal and external clients, ensuring clear communication and client satisfaction throughout project lifecycles.
  • Cost Management: Prepare and manage budgets, conduct cost analysis, and ensure projects are delivered within budget.
  • Site & Office-Based Work: Split your time between the office in Stockport and various project sites across the Northwest region.
Client Sectors:

Work with clients in Retail (including drive-through establishments) and Automotive sectors (car showrooms and dealerships).

Skills & Experience Required:
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
  • Experience with New Build and/or Fit-Out projects is highly desirable.
