Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at Halfords. As a key member of our Finance Leadership Team, you will provide strategic support to the business, driving financial performance and decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Finance teams in delivering business strategy, driving performance through effective financial support.
  • Produce financial analysis and commentary, including weekly and monthly reporting, providing accurate and timely information to inform decision making.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Leadership Team to understand and control costs, challenging where necessary and driving operational efficiencies.
  • Contribute to the creation of budgets and forecasts for future activity, inputting into risk and opportunity processes where relevant.
  • Provide ad hoc financial information and analysis to key stakeholders to support various projects.
  • Develop and present financial models to inform business decisions, including investments and business opportunities.
  • Present to the B2B Retail Leadership Team on matters such as monthly performance and strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a dynamic and results-driven approach, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to analyze complex data to inform commercial decision making.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and thrive under pressure.
  • High attention to detail in every aspect of work undertaken, ensuring accuracy of reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to build and develop good working relationships with key stakeholders and communicate effectively.
  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel, with the ability to use PowerBI.
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to progress and succeed within the business.
  • Fully qualified chartered accountant with experience in property desirable.
  • The role is based at our Support Centre, with a minimum of 2 days per week to be office based.
