Finance Business Partner Role at Halfords

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to play a key role in driving business performance and decision making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Finance teams in delivering strategy and driving business performance through financial support.
  • Produce financial analysis and commentary, including weekly and monthly reporting, to provide accurate and timely information.
  • Support the Finance Leadership Team in understanding and controlling costs, challenging where necessary, and driving operational efficiencies.
  • Hold a key role in creating budgets and forecasts for future activity and inputting into risk and opportunity processes.
  • Provide ad hoc financial information and analysis to key stakeholders to support various projects.
  • Be comfortable appraising investments and business opportunities using financial modelling to drive decision making.
  • Present to the B2B Retail Leadership Team on matters such as monthly performance and strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
  • A dynamic and results-driven individual with a high level of energy.
  • The ability to analyse complex data to inform commercial decision making.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and thrive under pressure.
  • High attention to detail in every aspect of work undertaken ensuring accuracy of reporting and analysis.
  • The ability to build and develop good working relationships with key stakeholders and communicate effectively.
  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel. The ability to use PowerBI is desirable.
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to progress and succeed within the business.
  • Fully qualified chartered accountant with experience in property desirable.
