We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at the Royal Mencap Society. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Assist with daily activities, such as household tasks and personal care, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our service users.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide emotional support and companionship to individuals with learning disabilities.
- A genuine passion for supporting others and making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of our service users.
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities, with a commitment to promoting their rights and dignity.
- 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time).
