A high-profile opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Change Management Specialist to join the prestigious HSBC organization in Edinburgh, UK.

This 12-month contract offers a highly competitive salary up to £616.47 per day (umbrella rate), making it an attractive prospect for professionals seeking growth and development opportunities.

HSBC's Non-Financial Risk Management function within the Markets business area is focused on managing and controlling non-financial risks, including operational, conduct, and product lifecycle risk.

The successful candidate will lead change management activities within the Front Office Supervision work stream as part of the Trading Controls programme.

This programme aims to enhance key trading controls to mitigate unauthorized trading risks within the Global Markets business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple regions to deliver new Trading/Supervisory controls.
  • Work with Business Partners to clarify problems/opportunities and propose solutions based on data analysis.
  • Chair and facilitate workshops with global/senior stakeholders to ratify design and drive consensus.
  • Refine and distil business requirements to produce finished artefacts for Technology teams.
  • Manage project deliverables with clear milestones, tracking risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Liaise with Technology teams to ensure user requirements match design and build.
  • Embed new change initiatives in Business As Usual (BAU) through documentation, training, post-go-live support, and implementing procedures.

Requirements:

  • Business Analyst/PM experience.
  • A successful track record of managing and delivering global change within Markets/Investment Banks.
  • Good understanding of Markets trading products and front-to-back trade lifecycle flows.
  • Solid skills running business workshops, presentations, and working with stakeholders globally.
  • Experience working with Front Office or Operations/Post-Trade systems.
  • Demonstrable capabilities in documenting Operating Model, Business Requirements, and Process flows.
  • Structured planning, delivery of artefacts, and setting expectations with stakeholders.
  • Drive, resilience, and ability to work in rapidly changing situations.
  • Hands-on data analysis to drive business insights and decision making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • MS Office tools, including solid PowerPoint skills.
