Job Description

This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of our crematorium and cemeteries. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Deal with public enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  2. Monitor and control cremations using computer input.
  3. Supervise and train other employees in cremation activities.
  4. Attend community events and memorial services.
Requirements
  • A clean UK driving licence and vehicle insured for business use.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £29,000-£30,950 depending on experience. Other benefits include:

  • 30 days of annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays) and 3 additional free days off at Christmas.

Working Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week in an office-based environment. A Basic DBS check is required.
