Job Title: Network Implementation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Implementation Engineer to join our team at Enso Recruitment. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our client's growing network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance network architectures, including LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud-based environments.
  • Configure and install various network devices and services, such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, etc.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network solutions with business operations.
  • Monitor network performance and security, including diagnosing and fixing performance bottlenecks and connectivity issues.
  • Implement network monitoring tools to assess infrastructure and ensure the health and security of network systems.
  • Maintain and update documentation of network configuration, processes, and service records.
  • Provide technical support to resolve network-related issues and outages, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience.
  • Perform root-cause analysis for critical incidents and work towards a permanent resolution.
  • Ensure the network is secure by implementing appropriate Cisco technologies, such as Cisco ASA, Cisco ISE, etc.
  • Manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and prevention measures.
  • Perform regular network updates, including firmware, patches, and upgrades to equipment and network infrastructure.
  • Research and recommend new technologies and advancements in Cisco networking solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) required.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer, with a strong focus on Cisco products.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Salary/Package:

Salary £50,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience)
