Network Engineer Opportunity

Enso Recruitment is partnering with a leading technology organization to find a skilled Network Engineer. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional customer service and providing technical expertise to support and build robust network infrastructures.

The Network Engineer will play a key role in both project delivery and 3rd level service support, ensuring network systems run smoothly for enterprise clients. We are seeking a candidate with strong hands-on experience in network technologies, particularly Cisco and Fortinet, along with a genuine interest in keeping up to date with the latest industry advancements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver 3rd level support and troubleshoot incidents, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of network solutions, adhering to security protocols and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with vendors, partners, and internal teams to stay updated on emerging technologies and solutions.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including Statements of Work, High- and Low-Level Designs, and test plans.
  • Be part of the on-call rotation, providing 24/7 support to clients as needed.
  • Present technical solutions to clients, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ensure adherence to change control procedures and provide feedback on customers' current systems to improve solutions.
Essential Experience and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
  • Strong working knowledge of Fortinet product suite.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional services environment, preferably within enterprise or government sectors.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively within virtual teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Experience and Qualifications:
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Accreditations in Cisco Wireless technologies.
  • Experience with Cyber Security Solutions, such as Firewalls and IPS.
  • Familiarity with MPLS implementation and support.
  • Knowledge of Fortinet and Aruba technologies is advantageous.
