Job Summary:

Career Teachers is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Education Support Professional to join our team in supporting children with additional needs in a Secondary School.

About the Role:

This full-time position, Monday-Friday, involves working closely with teachers to ensure students remain focused and on task. You will be responsible for managing student behaviour, following school policies, and providing one-to-one support to class teachers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant in a UK Secondary school
  • Cover supervisor experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Maths, Science, Art, History, etc., with volunteering experience
  • Sports coach/PE Coach
  • Ability to work 1-1 and in small groups
