Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a student with ADHD in a primary school setting. The successful candidate will have prior experience working with children with ADHD or similar behavioural needs and a strong understanding of ADHD and its effects on learning and development.

Responsibilities
• Provide one-to-one support to the student with ADHD, helping them to overcome learning challenges and foster engagement in the classroom
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support the student's well-being and academic progress
• Use patient, empathetic, and resilient approaches to stay calm in challenging situations and provide a positive, nurturing environment for the student
• Develop excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals

Requirements
• Prior experience working with children with ADHD or similar behavioural needs
• Strong understanding of ADHD and its effects on learning and development

• Ability to work effectively in a team and develop positive relationships with students, parents, and external professionals
