Physician Associate Education Specialist

Widener University is seeking a tenure track faculty member to join the Institute for Physician Assistant Education. Estimated salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing and teaching courses in the PA program, ensuring courses and syllabi are current and available to all students, and demonstrating competency in teaching as evidenced by supervisor, peer, and student evaluations.
The ideal candidate will have experience teaching foundational sciences and/or health care education, with a minimum of 3 years of academic teaching and research experience. They should also possess knowledge of working with an interprofessional healthcare team and in-depth knowledge of at least one area of physician assistant practice/scientific knowledgebase.

- Knowledge of working with an interprofessional healthcare team
- A minimum of 3 years of academic teaching and research experience
- Graduated with a master's degree from an accredited college or university
- Earned doctoral degree from an accredited college or university
