About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our team at Ember Inns. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate your team to achieve high standards of food preparation and presentation.
- Work closely with the Head Chef to develop and implement menus, manage food ordering and stock control, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train and develop your team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive team culture.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role in a similar environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
