About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team at Priory Group. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care to individuals with mental health conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients, families, and carers to promote engagement and recovery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that they are tailored to the individual's needs and goals.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Lead shifts and mentor junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Requirements

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification and current registration with the NMC.
  • Experience working in a mental health setting, preferably in a low-secure environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007 and its application in practice.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances, prioritizing patient needs and safety.
