Job Role

As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients in our low secure hospital and step-down facility.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team under the direct supervision of a qualified nurse, undertaking a range of duties involving direct patient contact and interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist and support patients in their daily activities, including personal care and medication management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, working closely with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
