About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Care Professional to join our team at Priory Group. As a Mental Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to individuals with mental illness and personality disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to patients, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and monitoring progress.
  • Lead shifts and mentor student nurses and other team members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Follow all relevant codes of conduct, standards, and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and teams.
  • A high level of self-motivation, flexibility, and adaptability, with a commitment to patient-centered care and values-based practice.
  • Experience in a related environment, with a strong understanding of mental health principles and practices.
