About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Simulations Editor to join our team at Alexander Mae Recruitment. As a key member of our content creation team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality device builds using in-house tools that accurately replicate visually the 'how to' steps on a given device or application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build simulations from scratch (Lead devices)
  • Create and edit content in response to operating system updates, unique selling points, client requests and feedback, voice of customer insight, market trends, and stay up to date with the latest device and operating system releases
  • Perform additional fixes on devices once tested and quality checked
  • Assign tasks to the team on a rota basis and help to monitor progress accordingly
  • Review and update content in response to insight and feedback

Strategic Requirements:

  • Play a key role in implementing content strategy by providing the right content delivered appropriately (format)
  • Utilize and appraise available insight
  • Adhere to best practice standards in content creation and delivery

Requirements:

  • Some experience of web authoring tools or a content management system (CMS)
  • Organisation and planning
  • Experienced user of photo editing software e.g., Fireworks, Photoshop
  • Basic HTML

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have some content writing or proofreading experience too
  • Confident pro-active approach – able to propose and crucially follow through
  • Technically capable, curious independent thinker – Interest in technology
  • Adept in problem solving and resolution
