**Position**
A long-standing interiors title, _Your Home_ magazine is one of the biggest magazine brands in the sector, belonging to a portfolio that reaches over 1 million combined users every month. Aimed at house-proud interiors-lovers, _Your Home_ inspires and empowers its readers to make their dream home a reality with affordable ideas, makeover stories and helpful craft and DIY advice.
The magazines produce 13 issues a year, plus a bonus Christmas issue.
Working as part of a busy editorial team, the Production Editor is responsible for organising the editorial production of the magazine to the highest possible standard and to deadline, while ensuring consistent editorial tone on every page. The Production Editor shares control of the copy flow with the Editor for both current and future issues to make sure that all issues run smoothly.
The Production Editor is also responsible for commissioning and writing regular pages for each issue, working alongside the Editor and Homes Commissioning Editor to develop their ideas and copy writing skills, as well as honing their subbing and editing skills. The role demands the highest subbing, writing and organisational skills.

**Requirements**:
**Essential**:
- Excellent command of - and creative flair with - written English.
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- First-rate communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively and flexibly within a team.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent organisational abilities, with experience of each stage of print editorial processes and prioritising workloads.
- Knowledge of the interiors market, or at least a keen personal interest in home décor, home improvement, craft and/or food.
- Adobe InDesign, Word, Excel and general Mac skills.
**Preferred**:
- Experience of writing for the interiors market.
- Experience of DIY and home improvement in your own home (rented or owned).
