Job Title: Conveyancing Legal Secretary

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join our team in Portsmouth. The successful candidate will have a strong background in conveyancing and excellent administrative skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Fee Earners with conveyancing transactions, including preparing documentation and checking titles.
  • Liaise with clients, solicitors, and estate agents through telephone enquiries and correspondence.
  • Respond to enquiries promptly and handle administrative tasks such as producing letters and legal documents.
  • Utilise a Case Management System (DPS) effectively and adapt to changing priorities.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Maths and English skills.
  • Experience working in a busy legal environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective use of IT skills.
  • Proven organisational and administration skills.
  • Ability to produce accurate work.
