About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Device Preparation Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing medical devices for use in direct patient care.
Main Responsibilities:- Clean and assemble medical devices according to manufacturer's instructions
- Conduct thorough inspections of re-usable medical devices to identify any defects or damage
- Package and label medical devices for sterilization
- Verify that medical devices meet regulatory standards
- GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
- Previous experience in a Sterile Services Department or hospital setting (desired)
- Evidence of having undertaken own development to improve understanding of quality issues (desired)
