Accounts Payable Team Member

Gleeson Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for processing invoices, managing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Responsibilities:- Invoice Processing: Process incoming invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Payment Management: Manage payments, including preparation and processing of weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc payments.
- Statement Reconciliation: Reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Supplier Liaison: Communicate with suppliers to resolve payment-related issues.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments to ensure approvals and documentation for expenditures.
- Month-End Activities: Assist in month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and reporting.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organised and up-to-date records of invoices, payments, and related documentation.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounts payable function.
- Experience: Previous experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role.
- Skills: Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Organisation: Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
